Meet the Directors
Brayden Lim
Creative Director | Head Photographer
As the Creative Director and head photographer of Alinea Collective, Brayden believes that outstanding creativity is often the product of team effort and values a close working relationship with all his clients. When Brayden first founded Alinea Collective, his vision for Alinea was to be a food photography house that specialises in creating solely food visuals for establishments in the f&b scene. Till today, Brayden stands by his philosophy of specialising in one thing and focusing on doing that one thing well.
Today, Brayden works alongside a dedicated team of food stylists, graphic designers, digital artists, videographers, and set designers who share his vision, collectively influencing the F&B scene both locally and globally. With a solid background in marketing, Brayden integrates strategic insights into his photography, elevating not only the aesthetics but also the marketability of his clients’ food—both online and offline. Collaborating with creative agencies and clients on marketing campaigns, Brayden’s work has achieved international recognition, earning awards and featuring in major advertisements and campaigns.
Almanda Haley Teo
co-founder | Food Stylist
At Alinea Collective, food styling is helmed by our head food stylist, Almanda. For Almanda, food styling is an expression of her love for food - understanding it’s limitations but also leveraging on all the amazing things that it can do. Being versatile in many cuisines, Almanda’s culinary knowledge extends anywhere from savoury to sweets. Almanda was in the field of Psychology for seven years with a first class honors in Psychology from Nanyang Technological University before she started her craft in food styling. Today, she is a self-taught food, set and prop stylist and her works have been featured on TVCs, prints and publications globally.
Being in a position with the ability to create something different everyday has always empowered Almanda to constantly push creative boundaries with her visuals. Almanda loves experimenting with different colors and textures in her conceptualisation, set building and design. It is important that key visuals are created with a story-telling purpose - she often finds herself applying aspects of consumer and social psychology onto various elements of her styling work. Almanda combines the best knowledge of her craft along with styling techniques that she has developed for herself over the years. Her styling reflects a bold, adventurous and unapologetic style that is signature in all her works.
